 A .bd domain is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Bangladesh. It includes extensions like .com.bd, .net.bd, .org.bd, .edu.bd, and others, allowing businesses and individuals to establish a local online presence in Bangladesh.

Document requirements vary by extension. For .com.bd, .net.bd, .info.bd, and .বাংলা: NID (Individual) or Trade License (Organization). For .org.bd: NID or Registration Certificate (minimum 2-year registration). For .edu.bd and .ac.bd: Educational/Academic institution certificate and authorized person’s NID.

Documents must be uploaded within 3 days of registration through your domain management panel, or your domain will be suspended. .bd domains are non-refundable if documents fail verification or are not submitted within the deadline.

.bd domains are registered for a minimum of 2 years. You can renew your domain annually after the initial 2-year period. The registration period cannot be less than 2 years for new registrations.
